Elite athletes will train and vie for spots in the Men's National Team Pool.
This camp will be led by Southwest Regional Coach Boban Zivovic with 1996 Olympian Darrick Heath acting as assistant coach and athletes’ representative; USATH Technical Director Mariusz Wartalowicz is to preside over both the ATL and Chicago camps. The trio will act as the selection committee for the 30 available spots in the Men’s National Team Pool.
The players will be competing for spots on the USA Men’s National Team tour in October. USA Team Handball has accepted an invitation to participate in a tournament in late October in Poznan, Poland - which is scheduled to include the National “B” teams of Poland, Norway, Greece, Turkey and/or Ukraine.
