Minnesota Team Handball will be hosting its Fall Classic from September 18 to 19 at the Minneapolis Sports center which is located at 2121 E. Lake Street.
Craig Rot, Director of Communications for Minnesota THC, says "We are training hard and hope to show well on our home court. But it is going to be a hard fought tournament and teams better come ready to play -- including and especially our own. I'm excited to get back out there to avenge our three-goal loss in the Open National Championship game and our three-goal loss to Chicago in the championship game of our April tournament."
There will be prizes (in addition to bragging rights and trophies) for the event!
1st Prize: $400
2nd Prize: $200
3rd Prize: $100

Additional Information:
- There will be three Canadian referees and three American referees working these games, which works out to five games for each pair.
- There will be a gourmet food truck in the parking lot serving food and drink during the afternoon and evening of the event. I will be working out a menu with its proprietor and release this later in the week.
- There will be an event at the Park Plaza Hotel beginning around 8 PM on Saturday night. There will be a pasta bar and free non-alcoholic beverages. A well-stocked cash bar will be open till well after midnight. The cost will be $12 a person.
- The hotel will run a dedicated shuttle to and from the event. I will release the schedule later this week.
- The hotel shuttle will be available to pick up any teams that arrive at the airport. Be sure to make arrangements beforehand with the Park Plaza staff.
- This year we have a full-service trainer for the event. TRIA will have a truck at the event and will be available to handle any emergency or preventive issues of your players.
