NY ref pair officiates at PATHF Women's Championships

Referee pair Monika Sutton and Malgorzata Golus-Szubelak of New York are officiating at the Pan American Team Handball Federation Senior Women's Championships, currently underway in Santiago, Chile. Sutton and Golus-Szubelak, whom recently refereed at the 2009 National Club Championships in May, were selected from the United States to officiate.

After the first days of competition in Chile, the teams are ranked as follows:

 GROUP A

1. Argentina

2. Dominican Republic

3. Uruguay

GROUP B

1. Brazil

2. Chile

3. Mexico

4. Paraguay
