Revised guides, rule book posted

Revised versions of USA Team Handball's Competition Rule Book, Tournament Sanctioning Guide and Tryout Guide have been posted on usateamhandball.org. Modifications to the three documents are as follows:

USATH Competition Rule Book
* Formation, functions, and responsibilities of Disciplinary Committee during sanctioned events (Article II, Section 2)
* Minimum recommended penalties for violations of the Code of Conduct (Article II, Section 4)
* Club/Team Regulations and Standards (Article IV)  including new minimum participation rule for players (Article, IV, Section 2b), switching teams (Article IV, Section 2c), changing clubs (Article IV, Section 2d)
* New system of regional competitions and qualifications for USATH Club Championships and President’s Cup (Article V) including new minimum participation standards for clubs (Article V, Section 3B)
* New format, assignments of bids and seeding formula of the USATH Men’s Club National Championships (Article VI) including clarification of uniform standards for all sanctioned events and an increase of  Performance Bond from $50 to $150 (section 7), minimum/maximum roster sizes (Section 8).

USATH Tournament Sanctioning Guide
* Simplified, shorter and easier to read/use format
* USATH Tournament Sanctioning Application and Agreement to Comply forms provided at the beginning of the document
* Clearly specified benefits of hosting a sanctioned events including description of the USATH and the LOC responsibilities and financial commitment.

USATH Tryout Guide
* Testing Metrics updated for Anaerobic Power and Anaerobic Endurance standards for female athletes
* Height and Upper Limbs Span standards uniformly provided in feet and inches
