TR Travel Team joins USATH family

Frankfurt-based Tour & Travel Agency to Sponsor 2010 Youth Tournament 

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - USA Team Handball today introduced Germany-based TR Travel Team as its exclusive international tour and travel partner. 

The multi-year partnership creates a comprehensive alliance between the two organizations, with TR Travel Team facilitating USA Team Handball travel in Europe, and USA Team Handball helping to coordinate handball tours of the USA from European countries. 

"After numerous agreements with German clubs and other countries, we are pleased to work with USA Team Handball," Karl Gladeck, CEO of TR Travel Team, which recently managed the flights and ground transportation for the 32-person USA U-18 delegation that traveled from across the USA and five foreign countries to meet and train in Dormagen, Germany. 

At least two major collaborations are planned for 2010 in the United States.   

First, TR Travel Team is hosting more than 200 players and family from the Toyota Handball Bundesliga for a New Year's celebration and friendly tournament in New York City. USATH member club New York City Team Handball Club is acting as the ground agent for this trip. 

Second, in August 2010, USA Team Handball and TR Travel Team will host an Inaugural U18 tournament for Boys and Girls (birth years 1992-94) in Orlando, Florida and recruit European clubs and federations to send teams, and act as the tour operator and flight coordinator for these groups. At least four spots will be reserved for American U18 teams. More details about this event are forthcoming. 

Gladeck has played, coached and promoted handball at every level in Germany for more than 20 years. Details of the partnership were finalized in late September when Mr. Gladeck visited USA Team Handball in Utah.
