Announcing the inaugural Florida Cup

USA Team Handball is pleased to announce the inaugural Florida Cup, to be held in gorgeous Orlando/Kissimmee, Florida. Top handball teams from around the world are invited to enter the tournament, to take place August 7-13, 2010.
Participants will connect with teams invited from Germany, Poland, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Canada, the United States and other great handball nations for six days and nights of fun and competition. Athletes will witness fantastic handball action and make international friends in the shadows of iconic Disney World and Universal Studios.
Top handball teams with athletes born in 1992-1994 are eligible to compete in the Florida Cup. The player registration fee is $629 per person, and includes the following:
- 6 nights lodging at resort hotel (four people/room for youth; two people/room for coaches)
- Breakfast and dinner every day
- Airport transfers and daily transportation to handball gymnasium
- Gift from USA Team Handball
- Medals for first, second and third place teams
The Florida Cup is presented by USA Team Handball and sponsors Grundfos, SnapSports, TR Travel Team and the Central Florida Sports Commission. Fees are based on 16 players and four coaches per team. Every team is guaranteed at least five matches; prices are guaranteed if $1,000 team deposit is paid before Dec. 15, 2009. European teams interested in package deals including roundtrip airfare starting at €999 per person should contact Karl Gladeck.
