IHF Referee Catalog of Questions

USA Team Handball referees must pass a 30-question test based upon the IHF Referee Catalog of Questions in order to be certified to officiate sanctioned matches.

1) Pass 30-question written test based on IHF Referee Catalog of Questions

2) Pass Physical Fitness criteria based upon Cooper Test (effective 1/1/10)

3) Pass on-court evaluation by USATH Evaluator(s)

4) Be a member in good standing of USA Team Handball

Officials with certifications from other IHF member countries may be exempted from selected criteria.
