Call for Nominations: USA Team Handball General Membership Director
USA Team Handball is seeking nominations for the position of General Director, who will serve as a critical voice representing the interests of athletes in the governance of USA Team Handball. This position is an important part of ensuring athlete representation in decisions that shape the future of our sport.
The elected General Membership Director will serve on the USA Team Handball Board of Directors for a four-year term commencing January 1, 2025. The election shall be open to all individuals who were valid USATH members as of October 21, 2024, per Section 5.2 of the USATH Bylaws.
If you are interested in this position, please submit a Self-Nomination Form to Michael King & Matthew Collins at Michael.king@usateamhandball.org & matthew.collins@usateamhandball.org by 11:59 PM MT on December 18, 2024.
Additionally, all potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed according to USA Team Handball’s bylaws and policies.
Election Timeline and Process
By December 22: USA Team Handball will distribute the list of eligible nominees, including statements of intent, relevant candidate submissions, and voting instructions to eligible voters.
December 22– December 27: USA Team Handball will conduct an election via Election Runner. The nominee receiving the most votes will be named General Membership Director
By December 28: USA Team Handball will notify all candidates of the election results.

All candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Comply with all eligibility criteria outlined in USATH Bylaws, including Section 6.4 and 6.6(c).
With respect to Section 6.4 and the USATH MAAPP and Athlete Safety Policy, complete an NCSI Background Check and SafeSport Training
