IHF Beach Handball Showcase Set to Get Underway; Donlin, Mansour, and Udo-Udoma Represent the USA

Later this week, sixty-four athletes from around the world will participate in the IHF Beach Handball Showacse, which will held in Paris, France, the location of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
USA Beach National Team athletes Drew Donlin, Christine Mansour, and Ebiye Udo-Udoma will head to the Maison du Handball to participate in the tournament from July 27th to July 29th.
Eighteen countries will be represented at the competition, with six teams of mixed nationalities and two teams made up of French athletes. Each team will play six matches throughout the three-day competition.
Donlin, Mansour, and Udo-Udoma will be a part of Team Draco, Team Lyra, and Team Pegasus, respectively.

The International Handball Federation (IHF), the Paris 2024 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the French Handball Federation, and the International Olympic Committee worked collectively to execute this competition to promote the sport of beach handball. The hopes are that, in the future, beach handball will be included as a discipline in the Olympic Games.
