Grew up in Kansas…Graduated from his high school as the all-time leading scorer and a state champion in basketball, as well as a two-time state champion soccer goalkeeper…Attended Binghamton University and played basketball for two years…Became a two-sport athlete at Emporia State University, playing both basketball and baseball (a career .500 hitter)…Was named Mr. Kansas Basketball and Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year in 2004…Began playing handball with the New England Freeze (now the Boston Team Handball Club) in 2008…Moved to Germany in 2009 to play professionally for three years…Moved up a German handball league each year until he decided to move back to the States to start a family…Still trains full-time and represents the New York Athletic Club's handball team…Works for the world’s #1 handball sports apparel company, Hummel…Resides in New Hampshire with wife Jennifer and two children, Charlotte Mae and Jackson.
