Personal:
Julia has played handball since the age of ten.
Sayer played her youth career in the Oberliga with TVE Röcke. She has played for TSV Hahlen since 2017. She joined the US Women’s National team in 2010 when she was living in New York City and competed at the Pan American Games. She took a quad off, and returned to the national team in 2018 helping the women qualify for the Pan American Games. She works as a school teacher and enjoys traveling in her free time.
