Born in Boston, MA and moved to North Carolina at the age of seven...Has four brothers and one sister...Is bilingual in English/French and is working on her third and fourth languages (Spanish and Arabic)...First discovered handball at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she studied International Relations...Took a semester off school to attend the Idrætshøjskolen Handball Academy in Aarhus, Denmark...Spent 1.5 years in the Auburn Residency Program...Moved to a suburb of Paris, France and signed a semi-pro contract with Aulnay Handball...Earned a Master's of Science in Sociology at the University of Paris-Diderot...Currently works for an NGO in the Paris area...Lover of hip-hop and science-fiction...Is a passionate foodie.
