Michael Wall and Tracy Deforge Resign from Board of Directors of USA Team Handball, Patrick Jalabert Assumes Interim Chair Position

Colorado Springs, CO - June 19, 2024 – USA Team Handball today announced the resignations of Michael Wall and Tracy Deforge from the Board of Directors. Wall, USA Team Handball President and Chair since 2019, and Deforge, an Independent Director, will both step down effective immediately.

USA Team Handball extends its gratitude to Michael Wall and Tracy Deforge for their dedication and hard work over the past five years and the foundation they laid in further promoting handball in the United States.

In response to their departure, the Board of Directors has appointed Patrick Jalabert as the Interim Chair. Jalabert, a General Membership Director with extensive experience in handball and the current club president of Chicago Inter Handball, will lead the organization through this transition period.

USA Team Handball will now initiate the process of replacing the two vacant Independent Director positions on the Board of Directors. Further updates will be provided in due time.
