"The Jr. Pan American Games are the culmination of our efforts and our planning has been targeted to reach peak performance at this event," said Junior Men's National Team Head Danilo Rojevic. "It will be a challenging endeavor, but we believe this group has the potential to be in the Top-4 teams, possibly fighting for a medal."

The Junior Men's National Team is coming off a historic stretch, where they secured the Gold Medal at the IHF Trophy - Continental Phase last December, and followed it up by winning the IHF Trophy - Intercontinental Phase in Kosovo a few weeks ago.

"Our performance so far in the cycle has been outstanding and we will use the IHF U21 Men's World Championship as a final metric to assess where we stand before our departure to Asuncion, Paraguay," Rojevic added.
