Personal
Anja Egede Borg, the younger sister of Women's National Team player Karoline Borg and two older brothers, has been playing handball since the age of seven. She holds dual-citizenship with Norway and the United States, as her mother, who passed away in 1999 due to breast cancer, was a Californian. She says that "Playing for the USA is a very nice way to reinforce my American heritage and way to honor the memory of my mother."
In 2014, Anja moved to Trondheim to pursue studies in psychology.
